Some children are eligible for free childcare of 15 hours; this expands to 30 hours for working parents from September 2025

We offer free childcare for 3/4 year olds

15 hours of free early education per week (570 hours/year) during term time for all 3 & 4-year-olds.

Available to all, depending on available spaces,  regardless of parental income/work status

You may also be entitled to 30 hours of free childcare a week through the Free Childcare for Working Parents scheme

Chargeable Extras

Extended Services - Rowley Owls (3/4 year olds)

We offer limited extended services for those parents who require extra childcare, in addition to their child's normal nursery session.  The services are charged at a minimal cost. If you wish to book Extended Services, please call the office on 0121 568 8168

Extended Services - Rowley Robins (2 year olds)

Extended services costs should be paid in advance for one off sessions; alternatively regular invoices will be sent to parents for ongoing services; invoices will clearly show your child's funded hours separately from paid hours. 

Please note: If you have 2 children attending our school, we will offer a reduced Extended Services cost - pay for one session, get one half price. Please contact the school office if you require any further information

Payments via Childcare Tax Services 

2025 to 2026 academic year

You may be able to get 85% of your childcare costs paid or a fixed maximum amount, whichever is less via your Childcare Grant Payment Service (CCGPS)

We will send requests for payment to the CCGPS, which you can approve through your account. You’ll usually need to do this every week.

The remaining 15% of the payment will be invoiced to parents / carers

Consumables & Voluntary services

Consumables (for example nappies / wipes / sun cream) parents are to supply

Voluntary services (for example, trips, forest schools session school fund )

£1.00 per week for school fund to cover any Ad Hoc activities 

Voluntary contributions to cover the cost of school trips, transport and entrance fees etc.

We do ask that a piece of fruit is provided on a daily / weekly basis to be shared with others at snack time.  Milk is provided at snack time too, this is free of charge
